MASQUERADE is a Sparkman & Stephens New York 32 (hull #21), built in 2009 and launched in 2010.


Designed only and exclusively for the New York Yacht Club members in the 1930s. MASQUERADE was newly built between 2004 and 2010 by a Dutch owner with exceptional permission from the New York Yacht Club. She was built in the Netherlands at the Pieter van der Aa Classic Yacht yard.


Constructed in modern, strong woodcore epoxy and only the best materials used in combination with all the original bronze parts taken over from NY32 hull #13, she is absolutely unique classic retaining the original 1930s character.


Beautifully maintained and presented by her most caring Dutch owner. Located in Breskens, The Netherlands, viewing are highly recommended.

Hull strip planked with red cedar wood and sheathed inside and outside with layers of fibreglass in epoxy in order to have a strong and low maintenance hull

Hull painted in white with Van de Ijssel paint system

Lead keel with a ballast of approx. 5.000 kg

Deck constructed in waterproof multiplex on oak deck beams with yellow cedar “teak deck” surface and dark varnished teak parts

New York #13 was built by the builder to install all the original bronze hardware to keep her character

Coamings constructed in solid teak and finished with high gloss varnish

Coachroof painted in sand white with Van de Ijssel paint system

Teak varnished hand grabrails fitted on both sides of the coachroof
